Northeast is also called as seven sister’s state which includes Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura. Sikkim is the latest inclusion of north east India as the only brother of seven sisters. Northeast is connected to the rest of India with the chicken neck corridor or formally the Siliguri corridor which is a narrow stretch of land, located in the Indian state of West Bengal. It has over 2000 km of border with Bhutan, China, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
